All you fashion lovers, we are officially approaching the next season of the year!
Fashion can have various interpretations for each of us. For me, it adds an element of creative fun, a delightful departure from the routine that invites experimentation.
Of all the fashion weeks happening around the globe—serving up the biggest looks from London to New York, Paris, and Milan—here are my thoughts on the Autumn-Winter 2024 fashion trends. Best of all, you can find these styles at both budget-friendly and luxury designer price points.
1. Colour: Let’s kick things off with the trending colour of the season: Burgundy.
Look for this rich hue in accessories like shoes, bags, and nail paint. Think cozy jumpers, ruffled dresses, and sleek leather jackets all in this stylish shade.
2. Prints: Leopard prints are making a comeback!
If you're ready to dip your toes into the animal aesthetic, leopard print garments are the way to go. You’ll find them in skirts, loafers, dresses, and even blazers and coats. Pair them with blue denim, classic white shirts, or black bottoms for an effortlessly chic look.
3. Sheer Bow Blouses:
Just in time for the chilly weather, sheer bow blouses add a feminine touch and a beautiful element to your wardrobe. Available in various colours, prints, and patterns, they are a fantastic way to refresh your look.
4. Knee-High Boots:
This season, opt for knee-high boots in trendy burgundy glossy leather. Whether you prefer pointed toes or broad rectangular fronts, kitten heels or block heels, there are plenty of options to elevate your outfit.
5. Kilt Skirts:
Kilt skirts have made a striking return and are now a must-have fashion item for the season. From leather to various wool options, these skirts can be paired with classic pieces to give them a modern edge.
For me, kilt skirts are a creative person's paradise to style. Pair them with chunky knits, colourful polo shirts, or sleek jackets for a surprisingly versatile look.

6. Mix Your Metals:
This season is all about fun jewellery! Expect a major resurgence of chunky pieces, while sleek, fine jewellery continues to hold its own. A clever mix of gold and silver—be it bangles, rings, or necklaces—will make styling even more exciting and dynamic.
Try these out and let me know what you think and how you like them!
